IMPORTANT YEARBOOK & LIBRARY NOTICE
The James Clark School Library has closed for the school year.
Books should be returned by Friday, June 7th
If your child has not returned his/her library books, or the books are lost/damaged, your child will not receive the yearbook you ordered until their library account is cleared.
If you have any questions, please call Mrs. Chase at 786-8203.
Kindergarten Orientation: Sept. 9th & 10th
Kindergarten children and their parents will be scheduled to attend a modified day involving an orientation by the Principal, the Nurse, a PTO member and the Classroom Teachers.
Children will have an opportunity to familiarize themselves with their teacher, classroom, routines, bus safety and fire drill procedures. A school tour will be provided as well.
NO transportation will be provided on these two day.
The children will particpate in a brief bus ride in the Clark School vacinity during the hours of their scheduled oritentation.
Please report to the cafeteris upon arrival.
A letter will be sent home informing you of the day and time of your child's orientation.

Cold Weather Recess Policy
We will continue to have outdoor recess, weather permitting, during the winter months.
Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for outside recess: winter coat, hat, mittens/gloves, scarf and boots will help to keep your child warm while outside getting some fresh air.
MORNING STUDENT DROP-OFF: Front of school in the semi-circle drop off area.
AFTERNOON STUDENT PICK-UP: Students will be picked up at the back of the school in the REAR PARKING LOT.
Stop lines have been added as well as new number signs. Please pull your car up to the stop line when directed by the staff on duty.
There is a "No Car" area just outside the grassy area. Please do not drive in this area as this is the waiting area for the students.
Please wait for all cars in the line to load and then follow the line to exit the area. Please DO NOT pull out of the carline UNLESS you have been directed to do so by staff.

Parent PlusPortal is now active
The Parents PlusPortal is active. Parents will receive an email with log-in information and minor instructions.
If you do not have a log-in please call the school office.
