Because we are committed to making our schools a welcoming and supportive learning environment, our school will conduct a School Climate Survey with students the week of June 12th in grades 5th through 11th.  The data collected will assist the district in identifying areas of strength and areas that need improvement so that we may continue to provide your child with the best educational environment possible. The survey will have questions about your student’s learning, interpersonal support, school safety, and sense of belonging and connection to their school.

Please be advised:

*Participation is voluntary but encouraged.

*This is an anonymous survey. Students will NOT put any of their identifying information into the survey.  Students have the choice not to participate.

*Students can select “I prefer not to answer” if they don’t want to answer a question about demographics.

*The survey is completed electronically, and the responses are housed securely in an anonymous format with the University of Oregon Technical Assistance Center projects for evaluation research purposes. All evaluation research projects comply with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (343 CFR 99.31 (6)) and human subjects regulations (Protection of Human Subjects 45 CFR 46).

*The survey should take about 10 to 15 minutes and be completed during a designated class time.

********If you do not wish for your child to participate in this important survey, please complete this Google Form by the end of the school day on Tuesday, June 13th.
