Agawam High School’s Grade 9 and new student orientation will take place on Thursday, August 28th from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. All students new to AHS are encouraged to attend.
This is a student only event, and is an opportunity for students to meet new friends, school administrators, current AHS student leaders, and school staff. Chromebooks will be distributed and students will tour the building, and access their schedule through the Powerschool App.
Our Student Leaders are called "Chiefs'', and will bring them on a tour around the building where they will have time to learn and meet with students who participate in a wide variety of extracurricular clubs and sports.
Transportation will be available for students. There will be a bus picking up and returning students from the Feeding Hills section and another from the Agawam section. The bus schedules are posted below. We look forward to seeing freshmen on Thursday, August 28th.
Please use the Google Form to sign up. By filling it out, we will be able to best prepare for a warm welcome to AHS. Chromebooks will be distributed during orientation.
