Agawam High School Building Project
The “new” Agawam High School building project is moving quickly. Below is a link to the website that lists everything you need to know.
PROGRESS UPDATE:
Current Construction Status (Phase 1)
The construction is currently focused on the Community Wing, which will house the new gymnasium, auditorium, and cafeteria.
Steel Erection: Well underway, with the skeletal frame of the building becoming clearly visible. This progress is on track with the anticipated timeline.
Foundation Work: The foundation for the Community Wing is reported as nearly complete.
Geothermal System: The drilling of the 150 geothermal wells that will provide energy-efficient heating and cooling for the new school is complete. Work is now shifting to the piping and interconnections that will link the well field to the new building.
