Agawam High School’s Grade 9 and new student orientation will take place on Thursday, August 27th from 9:00 am to 10:30 am. All students new to AHS are encouraged to attend.
This is a student only event, and is an opportunity for students to meet new friends, school administrators, current AHS student leaders, and school staff. Chromebooks will be distributed and students will tour the building, and access their schedule through the Powerschool App.
Our Student Leaders, called "Chiefs,'' will conduct the tours around the building and new students will have time to meet with students who participate in a wide variety of extracurricular clubs and sports.
Transportation will be available for students. There will be a bus picking up and returning students from the Feeding Hills section and another from the Agawam section. The bus schedules are posted below.
