Parents/Guardians of the Class of 2028,
As the calendar has changed to 2024, it is time to begin to welcome you to the Agawam High School Community (seems hard to believe doesn't it?). The building of a master schedule begins with course recommendations, course selections, and meetings throughout January and February. Below you will find a general timeline of upcoming events that will help ensure a smooth high school transition. Whether this is your first child entering high school, or your last, the process can be confusing, or may have changed over the years.
On behalf of the entire Agawam High School faculty, I welcome you to our learning community.
Thursday January 25 - AHS visits Agawam Junior High during the school day to present to 8th grade students.
8th grade teachers will be making recommendations for high school courses from now through February 2nd. Please reach out to them if you have questions.
February 1 - Program of Studies Night - AHS auditorium 6PM - Parents and Students please attend.

February 5 - 16 - Students fill out course selections on PowerSchool at AJHS.
We realize that there is still half of a year left before the students finish their experience at AJHS, but our planning timeline requires us to begin now. Course selections can be changed and amended in April by parents or students by directly contacting Mrs. Masciadrelli at AJHS.
