AJHS is proud to once again host the Wright Flight Aviation Club that will begin in late January. This is a weekly club that meets for 12 sessions. The aim is to introduce students to the field of aviation, explore the various career opportunities the aviation and aeronautical fields has to offer, and allow students to see the industry up close and personal through field trips and discussion with pilots and members in the profession. AJHS has had the highest participation rate of any middle school in the area and we want to keep that status! Students that complete the program have the opportunity to take a 1 hour flight over the valley with a licensed pilot and one of their Wright Flight teammates. Flight Day is held in the spring (April/May) out of Barnes Airport and families are encouraged to be part of this event. The information for the virtual meeting is listed below and can also be found on our school website.
