hands holding heart

While Grief is a universal experience, adolescence is a crucial period of development. Grieving teens have unique challenges as they mourn the loss of a family member or friend.

Peer grief support groups in schools provide a sense of community and connection, normalize the bereavement process, and teach new coping skills and strategies in a safe and supportive environment.

Mrs. Masciadrelli, AJHS school counselors, will facilitate a 6-week peer group beginning in October.  The group will meet once a week during the school day.

If interested, please contact Mrs. Masciadrelli , 413-821-0545 or email, to enroll your child.
