The Agawam Junior High School faculty and administration cordially invite you to attend our Maze Day and the “Seventh Grade AND New 8th Grade Student Orientation” on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, in the AJHS Auditorium. There will only be one Maze Day this year and we will invite our incoming 7th and New 8th Grade students and families to AJHS 3:00 - 5:00 PM and returning 8th grade students to join us from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. These times are windows and families do not have to be here for the entire two hours.
“Orientation” is open to all seventh grade students, all new to 8th grade AJHS students, and their parents/guardians. We will have two orientation sessions for flexibility for families to attend. The first session will be at 4:00 PM and the second session will start at 5:00 PM. Orientation sessions will last approximately 30 minutes and provide important details for families about AJHS expectations as well as tour of the building, picking up student chromebooks and receiving student schedule information . Both orientation sessions are the same and you only need to attend one.
If you are unable to attend your scheduled MAZE DAY window you may attend the other session but will need to check in with the registration table so you are directed to the correct grade level section of the cafeteria.
