The children are so excited about tomorrow’s 4th Grade Family Luncheon and can’t wait to share a special pizza lunch in the Granger Cafeteria with their guests!
A few important reminders:
Arrival Time: Please arrive at 12:10 p.m. for check-in. Upon arrival, check in with our volunteers to receive your meal ticket and visitor badge. Lunch will be served promptly at 12:20 p.m. The students will go through the lunch/milk line first, and once they’re seated, guests can get their meals and join them.
Important: No outside food, including take-out or bagged lunches, is allowed.
Guest Limit: Due to space constraints, only ONE family member may attend. We appreciate your understanding.
Reminder: Students are expected to stay in school for the remainder of the day.
PIE IN THE FACE FUNDRAISER: Get ready, Granger!
Our Pie Face Challenge is here to help 4th Grade with their end-of-year activities. Several teachers are brave enough to join in! Tomorrow at the luncheon, you can vote by bringing in money or loose change and putting it in the jar of the teacher YOU want to see pied! The teacher with the most votes will get a pie in the face at a school-wide assembly!
Granger: Just a friendly reminder that if someone from your child’s family is planning to attend the 3rd Grade Family Luncheon on Friday, 10/9 ~ tomorrow is the last day to purchase a meal and RSVP. No forms will be accepted after tomorrow, as our kitchen staff needs to order the lunches. Please complete the form that was sent home last week and send your payment along with the bottom portion of the form back to the school in an envelope labeled 3RD GRADE LUNCHEON.
Please remember only one (1) family member per student may attend. We are very limited in space and cannot accommodate additional family members. Your understanding and cooperation in this matter is greatly appreciated.
If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to

Don’t worry, you will still pick up in the same courtyard location! This small change will help reduce congestion near the main entrance and create a calmer, safer dismissal for everyone.
Please look for the new sign on the library door. Thank you for helping us keep dismissal safe and running smoothly! 💚🧡

And don’t forget: Our Chalk It Up event is tomorrow from 6:00–7:00 p.m. on the Granger playground!

The process of determining class assignments has been extensive and thorough. Our dedicated teachers, counselors, and administrative team collaborated closely to ensure that each student is placed in an environment where they can thrive both socially and academically. Our goal has always been to create balanced and supportive classrooms that meet the diverse needs of all our students.
We would like to emphasize that, due to the careful consideration and effort invested in this process, we are unable to accommodate requests to change these placements. We believe that the placements made reflect the best fit for each student, and we are confident that your child will have a positive and enriching experience in their assigned class.
To view your child's teacher, login to your PowerSchool app, click "classes" along the bottom, and your child's teacher will be listed under the homeroom. If viewing on a computer, you can also click on "classes" along the left side of your screen.
We also realize that some families may not have created their PowerSchool accounts. For help setting up your account, please drop in the Granger office on Friday, August 28th between 1 and 2 pm OR we can email you the information to create your account. Kindergarten families will receive information to set up their account at orientation on September 8th.
Thank you for your understanding and support. We look forward to a fantastic school year ahead and are excited to welcome your child back to school!
The wait is almost over! Class placement information will be sent tomorrow to the email address listed in PowerSchool and should arrive by noon.
While you wait for that exciting email to “drop” into your inbox, and try your very best not to hit refresh every 30 seconds, we have a quick family survey for you! It should take about five minutes to complete and will help us learn more about our Granger families and prepare for a wonderful school year.
