During the week of October 25, 2021 Roberta G. Doering School students and staff participated in a canned food drive to benefit the community food bank at the Bethany Assembly of God in Agawam. Students and staff who donated a non-perishable food item could come to school on Friday with a crazy hairstyle or hat. The 5th and 6th grade homerooms who collected the most non-perishable food items won a pizza party.
Nearly 3,000 non-perishable food items were collected and donated to the community food bank at the Bethany Assembly of God in Agawam.
