Rick's Place has an upcoming 3-session support group for grandparents who are raising their grandchildren following the death of a parent or caregiver.
This group is specifically for grandparents navigating caregiving after a death and will offer a supportive space to connect with others in similar roles, share experiences, and receive guidance around both grief and caregiving. (Does not include caregiving as a result of estrangement due to incarceration, deportation, etc.).

Great day in the AJHS library - 8th Grade Civics Project - Gallery Walk. Our 7th & 8th grade history students were given the opportunity to view student projects and vote on the project that best exemplifies civic action and building community.
Over the past three weeks at AJHS, Mrs. DeStefano, Mr. Miarecki, and Mr. Rieker’s 8th grade students have been working diligently and collaboratively on their state mandated student-led civic projects. Students were required to take a look within their communities to build awareness and/or influence policy. Students primarily focused on the process in preparation for their student-led civic projects in high school that require more independence,depth and complexity.
Rain or shine these AJHS kiddos showed up to represent & support Agawam at the Holyoke St. Patrick's Day Parade!!! Way to go kids!
