SEPAC Meeting
The Agawam Special Education Department invites parents and guardians to a meeting of the Special Education Parents' Advisory Council. The SEPAC is intended to be a parent-led group that provides support and advocacy for students with special needs.
Currently, the Agawam Public Schools does not have a parent-led SEPAC; and the special education department is looking for parent leaders to partner with.
A meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 17th at 6:00 p.m. in the Peirce Conference Room of the Agawam Public Library. Our initial meeting will be a meet and greet with special education administration and a review of the new IEP form.

Happy National Custodian Day!

Congratulations to the William P. Sapelli School who has been named a school of recognition by the Department of Secondary and Elementary Education as part of its annual accountability reporting process. The Department identifies a small number of Schools of Recognition. These schools demonstrate high achievement and high growth and meet or exceed accountability targets. Congratulations to the staff, students, and families of Sapelli school for all the hard work and commitment that went into reaching 93% of their targets on last year’s MCAS test, attendance, and language acquisition.
