The AHS class of 2027 invites you to skip the cooking on June 2nd and join them at Chipotle in West Springfield for a class fundraiser.

Mr. Cassidy's English 12 classes showcased their final work for their reading of "1984" in the AHS library. The final part of their assignment was a written reflection based on data collected from questions they created.

Art students at AHS are participating in America's 250 anniversary celebration sponsored by the BIG E. Students are working to 'decorate' the fairgrounds with a painted chick. The painting contest will include chicks from many schools around western mass. Good luck AHS!



Devin Soucy, Pilar Wimberly, Gabriella Gebo were AHS representatives to the Hampden County District Attorney's Youth Advisory Board. Devin and Pillar presented together on the topic of Mental Health Awareness and Gabriella presented on inclusion and disability awareness. During the year-long board membership, they collaborated with students from across Western Massachusetts.

Senior hockey captain Anthony Barbarini was recently recognized and awarded the Harold Passerini Award at the Bessone Awards banquet at West Springfield's Dante Club. This award goes to a Western Massachusetts hockey player showing outstanding athletic, academic, and community achievements. Congratulations to Anthony!

Best Buddies Club prom was recently sponsored by Chicopee High School and held at the Portuguese Club. Amherst Regional, Northampton, Ludlow, Williston, Westfield, Chicopee Comp, and South Hadley, and Agawam were among the schools that attended. The theme was a Starry Night and a great time was had by all in attenDANCE!








Students in advanced visual art classes at AHS took a field trip to Yale University on Friday. Students toured Yale Art Museum and took an architecture walk around the Yale campus.

A huge shout out to our Boys Volleyball and Girls Softball teams for their incredible work this Saturday! 🏐🥎
Our student-athletes joined forces with the Agawam Veterans Council to help flag veteran graves at 2 local cemeteries. It was a powerful morning of service, honoring those who have served our country and ensuring their legacies are remembered.
We are so proud of these players and their coaches for leading by example and showing that Agawam Pride extends far beyond the court and the field. 🟤🟠

The Spring Art Festival is next Thursday, May 7th, from 5-7 PM, and takes place in the rotunda at Agawam High School. Students have worked incredibly hard this year, and we truly hope you are able to attend the Festival and celebrate their successes with us. Dr. Chambers' Anatomy 2 students continued their exploration of the digestive system by dissecting fetal pigs. Pig and human anatomy are extremely similar, thus the reason they use pig heart valves and parts during human surgery.



Students in Mindful and Movement class spread some positivity with affirmations in chalk outside AHS.






Join the fine art students of Agawam High School on Thursday May 7 from 5-7 in the AHS rotunda. Works from Advanced drawing , photography, and sculpture, AP and Art Honors classes will be featured as well as three scholarships awarded.
