Recently, students in the Healthcare Pathway attended a career forum at Baystate Health in Holyoke, where they had the opportunity to engage with healthcare professionals and learn about their career paths and experiences. Additionally, students in the Information Technology and Manufacturing & Engineering Pathways participated in a Mass Makes AI event, where they worked collaboratively in pairs to develop AI-powered solutions within a safe and secure sandbox environment. These experiences provided students with valuable opportunities to explore career options, develop technical skills, and connect their classroom learning to real-world applications.
Today Agawam High welcomed over 80 colleges, universities, and service member representatives to the gymnasium for a college fair. Junior and senior students attended and were encouraged to begin to think about their plans after AHS. Representatives provided information about college programs and offerings and answered any questions students had. Shout out to our fantastic counseling department for organizing such a large and successful college fair!
Spirit Fridays continue at AHS. Can you guess the theme?

AHS Drama Club Presents: Night of the Living Dead
This past Saturday on 10/10 members of AHS Environmental Club along with club advisor, Mrs. Fleury, volunteered at Pynchon Point in Agawam to collect trash along the banks of the CT rivers so it doesn't end up in the river and eventually in the Atlantic ocean. Another great example of students making a difference in our great community.
Eighteen new members were inducted into the Agawam High School Chapter of the Tri-M (Modern Music Masters) Honor Society for 2026.
