
Students in the Future Medical Career Club learned about systolic and diastolic blood pressure numbers and how to take blood pressure readings. They practiced with their peers and the Healthcare Pathway students learned about healthcare careers in labs and studied diseases under the microscopes.

On November 7th, AHS seniors were selected and invited to be members of the Eleanor Smith chapter of the National Honor Society at Agawam High School. Congratulations to the new members!


Player of the week: Caleb Phillips, in the last two games, he has amassed 332 yards rushing and four touchdowns. Additionally, he has made two catches for 37 yards.

Springfield Technical Community College's (STCC) School of Health & Patient Simulation will be hosting it's annual Allied Health Careers Exploration Night on Monday, November 18th from 4:30pm - 7:00pm in Building 20 on the STCC Campus.
This open house style event is a great opportunity for your students interested in health care to explore the different healthcare program offerings at STCC and to tour STCC's nationally recognized Simulation Center. Participants will get a chance to meet faculty and current students, participate in hands-on activities and demonstrations, and ask questions about STCC's healthcare programs.
New this year, attendees are able to register in advance using the QR code or the link available on the flier. Registering in advance is encouraged but not required.
