The AHS Wind Ensemble performed at the Massachusetts Instrumental & Choral Conductors Association Concert Festival on Friday evening and received a Silver Medal! The Concert Festival is held in six different locations statewide and professional adjudicators rate the ensemble performance against a standard rather than against other groups. After the performance our students had a clinic with Dr. Eric Melley from Providence College.

Volleyball had a long day, but returned to AHS at 10PM on Wednesday night victorious. The team came home with their first win over Westfield (defending repeat state champs) since 2016!!!! And they did it in reverse sweep style (down 2-0 to win 3-2 in a dogfight). AHS fans, JV teams and family were electric and a huge part of the push to bounce back, refocus and win. Next game is at Comp on Friday at 11+12.

Additionally, the United States Coast Guard Academy; Mass Maritime Academy; Norwich University; and ROTC programs are invited to participate, expanding the information available to young people.
