Students from the Agawam Adult Education program celebrated their graduation last night as they earned their diplomas! We are so proud of all our Agawam graduates as they move ahead to their next chapter.

Agawam Night School graduation ceremony will take place on August 15, 2023 in the AHS Auditorium starting at 7 pm. More information will be forthcoming.

Our 2023 STATE CHAMPS! Congrats to the Boys Volleyball Team for their sweep over Westfield last night in the State Finals game.

Agawam Boys Volleyball are riding high after defeating O'Bryant in the semifinals last night! With a 3-0 sweep, the Brownies are moving on to the State Championship game Thursday, 6/15 at 5pm at Worcester State University. The team is also celebrating as senior captain Dan Yovenko reached a massive 1,000 kills (aka offensive points) in his three-year career with the team!



Agawam High juniors celebrated the Junior Book Awards this afternoon. Chosen by each department, selected students were awarded certificates, books, and scholarships for their achievements. Congratulations to all winners!

The AHS Boy's Volleyball team swept past Greater New Bedford on Friday night! They'll play again in the Final Four semi-finals Tuesday 6/13 at 6pm at Assabet Valley Reg Tech HS in Marlboro. Tickets will be for sale online via GOFan. Way to go, Brownies!


Students in Agricultural Engineering are seeing the "fruits of their labor" from their greenhouse and garden plantings! From cabbages to roses, herbs, tomatoes, lettuce, squash, and all different berries, things are really starting to sprout at AHS! (including bad puns...)

As our seniors prepare for tomorrow's graduation ceremonies, they walked through AHS halls one final time, led by Asst. Principal Mr. Karetka and Class Advisors Ms. DellaBella and Mrs. Hunter. Congrats to our Class of 2023 graduates!

Agawam High students accompanied staff and attended the Flags Across America event at the Massachusetts Veterans' Cemetery here in town. Over 10,000 American flags were uniformly placed- one at every gravestone- in preparation for the Memorial Day holiday.







On Saturday, May 21, members of the AHS National Honor Society assisted at the Walk to Cure Arthritis 5k, held at Stanley Park in Westfield. Junior members of NHS will be officially inducted in the fall, but are already eagerly volunteering in and around our community.


Congratulations to Sierra Moccio for being named as Valedictorian and Nolan Chamberland as Salutatorian for the Class of 2023. We shared a great moment with them and their very proud families on Friday.

The Agawam High School National Honor Society is helping to collect donations of semi-formal clothing for the upcoming 8th grade dance at AJHS. Please bring any donations to the AHS Counseling office!

Thursday night the Art Honors 1 and 2 classes displayed their work at the annual Spring Art Festival. Family, friends and members of our AHS community got a chance to see all of the hard work these exceptionally creative and hard working students produced this year.
