TOMORROW, ALL Seniors will be attending the second annual credit for Life Fair at AHS in the gym from 8-10:45am. Students will participate in a simulation in which they imagine they are in their mid-twenties and making daily financial decisions. Based on their career choice, salary, savings and credit score students will navigate purchasing a place to live, transportation, insurance, food and much more. This is a great way for students to experience the reality of how far their salaries will take them. It would be great to see teachers attend as well to experience the simulation through the student's eyes. Any questions please email Lisa Sheehan.

Historic Achievement for AHS Music Department!!! We are delighted to announce that our Chamber Choir and Symphonic Band have both earned prestigious Excellent (silver medal) ratings at this year's Massachusetts Instrumental and Choral Conductors Association (MICCA) Festival. This marks the first time in AHS history that both ensembles have achieved this distinction simultaneously! The MICCA Festival stands as Massachusetts' most rigorous music assessment, where performances are evaluated against comprehensive musical standards rather than in competition against other schools. Many institutions opt not to participate due to its demanding criteria, which makes our students' accomplishments even more remarkable. What sets this achievement apart is not just the ratings themselves, but the exceptional growth our music students have demonstrated throughout this year. Their dedication to musical excellence, attention to technical detail, and expressive performances impressed the panel of distinguished adjudicators.
