Senior & Senior Luncheon
A new tradition at AHS… the Senior & Senior Luncheon that was held at Heritage Woods on Tuesday (4/15). The first photo is the officers of their Resident Council and the officers of the Class of 2025. It was a huge success! Mia Canavan and Isabella Oliveira even went home and made two of the residents their favorite pies and brought them back to them that night.

Mark your calendars! AHS Spring Art Festival is May 15 from 5-7 at the high school.

Mr. Balbony's agriculture class and Mr. Dunphy's entrepreneurship classes have partnered for a plant sale today through next Friday. Vegetable, house and succulent plants will be available for purchase.

Boys celebrated our seniors and both teams earned win #14 as Joey Culhane made history! Our #14 jersey was retired to honor and remember Justin Lingenberg who fought a great battle with brain cancer and still came to vball practices and played in games during his time at AHS. Tuesday night we will play vs Westfield in our annual GREY NIGHT where all proceeds will go to his scholarship and donation fund to help local families with children battling cancer. JV at 5 and Varsity at 6:15. More info to come out on Monday and Tuesday! Thanks for your support.

The Diversity Club at AHS hosted the third annual Culture Jam. Students and staff along with their families were encouraged to share various aspects of their culture including, food, art, literature, dance, and customs. The AHS student body were invited in waves to the cafeteria during 7th period to visit tables and learn about the many cultures here in our community.

Both boys volleyball teams earned win #13 with a 3-0 sweep of Chicopee Comp! Thursday is senior night vs Ludlow. JV 5 and Varsity 6:15. Our six pack of seniors have come a long way since masks and 2022 and play a pivotal role this year!

Good Evening.
I hope everyone had a restful vacation. While we were gone, mobilization of the site began. Tomorrow, please be patient and allow extra time when arriving and departing. It will take some time for us to get used to our new normal. Student parking (for those with stickers) will now be allowed in the lower lot when spots fill out up front. Our staff will continue to park in the lower lot as well. We will monitor space, busses, and parent drop off patterns throughout the week and communicate any changes.
Your support, patience, and cooperation are greatly appreciated as we enter an exciting time for AHS and the entire Agawam community.
Best,
Jim Blain
