🥁 It's March 4th, which means happy National Marching Band Day! We are so proud of our Agawam Marching Band. These kids put in the work; rehearsals, high standards, energy and enthusiasm, and a genuine commitment to representing this community with pride. You see them on the field, you see them out and about in Agawam, and every time they show up, they deliver. Want to be part of it? Fall 2026 recruitment is open. Come march with us! 🎺🎷

The AHS Swim Team is proud to announce that our recent Pink Night event was a resounding success! Thanks to the incredible generosity of our fans, families, and athletes, we raised $650 in loving memory of Karen Parker. The proceeds were officially presented to the CHD Cancer House of Hope (CHH). This wonderful local organization provides vital, no-cost services to cancer patients and survivors right here in our community.

The Winterguard has started their season on a high note! They debuted their 2026 production, “Green Garden” at the New England Scholastic Band Association’s Winterguard Evaluation show on January 31 in Salem, Ma. This past weekend, on February 21, the group competed at NESBA’s Blackstone show at Blackstone-Millville Regional High School. The show was a favorite of the judges and the group was awarded first place this week, with a score of 68.66, a seven point jump from the Eval show! Their next show will be March 7 at Melrose High School.

Mrs. Sarnelli's English Honors 11 and Mr. Notidis's US history classes recently collaborated on a project about the Harlem Renaissance and "A Raisin in the Sun".

Did you know that AHS provides a large selection of clothing items, school supplies, and toiletries in our community closet? Students are welcome to stop in the counseling center to find things they may need. Thanks to our faculty and community partners for supplying and supporting such a great program for our students.

Real Care Babies are a part of Mrs. Hill's Child Development Course at AHS. Students practiced care techniques for the babies in class and will take home to babies to care for them for three consecutive nights. The Real Care babies must be attended to for various reasons (feeding, changing, burping, and general care.) Mrs. Hill is able to see students' responses to the babies when the simulation is done. The lessons and activities are a great way to provide students with a glimpse of real world child care skills.

Welcome to our front office Mrs. Kelly Dahm!
