Best Buddies Club Holiday Party was a great success. Students decorated cookies, played games and made ornaments for the Festival of Trees at the Public Library.

Members of the Westfield State Admission Staff (and Nestor, the Owl) visited AHS on Tuesday, December 16th as part of the "Future Owl Flight Path" program, where students were provided with their acceptance letters and some Westfield State merch.

Helping Hands Club is holding a pet supply drive through Friday 12/19. See flyer for more info. Any donation is greatly appreciated.

Two spirit days back to back with a blackout day to support the opening night of "Elf the musical" on Thursday. In honor of the 67th day of school Friday, students and staff had a 6-7 day.

Mr. Pare 10th grade US history played and interesting review game this week. Students enjoyed the scrabble like game.

The AHS Visual Arts department celebrated its students' work with its Winter Art Show on Thursday. The school community was invited to view artwork during 7th period and from 5-7 pm, the rest of Agawam was invited to come through and show support. There was much to celebrate!

Students in the Healthcare Pathway and the Future Medical Career Club received Stop the Bleed Certification. Alumni Eliza Timms (C/O 2018) and her peers in the PA program from the University of St. Joseph took time to come to Agawam High School to offer this certification. Stop the Bleed training is an important program that equips participants with life-saving skills to control bleeding in emergency situations.

Tonight is the night to support the fine artists of AHS! Stop by to view the many artworks of our students as well as peruse our 'winter market' filled with crafts and gift ideas for the season. You don't want to miss it!

Athletics Announcement – December 2, 2025 Due to today’s weather conditions, all after-school sports tryouts and practices are postponed. No athletic activities will take place after school. Please stay safe, and thank you for your understanding.

This Thursday 12/4 the Art Department at AHS is holding its biannual art show. Stop by from 5-7 on Thursday to view artwork from our local student artists. Make sure to visit our 'Winter Market' filled with handmade items and crafts with proceeds funding three art scholarships and field trips. Admission is free with a canned food donation suggestion.

The class of 2026 is having a fundraiser this Sunday! Stop by and support a great class!

Another orange and brown day at AHS saw our students and staff come together to celebrate being members of the great Agawam community. Go Brownies!!

✔️ All uniforms returned
✔️ Passing at least 5 classes
✔️ A valid physical on file
✔️ ArbiterSports registration fully approved

Transportation challenge?
🚌 For students who cannot return home before tryouts, a supervised study hall will be available in the cafeteria.
💻 Students must bring their Chromebooks and stay in the cafeteria until their practice begins.
