The ECC at Perry Lane recently had Ms. Pamela from the Agawam Public Library visit to talk to the students about the library and how to take care of books. Earlier this week students were able to visit the new library that Mrs. Polley created for students to practice checking out books. Students chose a book to take home to read with their families and will visit again in the future.
Students and Staff at the ECC celebrated this week with a Spirit Week including Hat Day, Colors of Your Holiday, Candy Cane Day, and ending with Pajama Day! During Pajama Day students sang songs, colored pictures, had a snowball toss and even tried to toss rings onto Mrs. Polley's reindeer antlers! Staff were also treated to coffee and cookies sponsored by our generous PTO.
Students at the ECC had their very own Pre-K Pep Rally where they shared what they were thankful for, sang, danced and had fun waving their pom poms that were borrowed from our very own AHS Cheerleaders! Happy Thanksgiving to all!
The ECC PTO held the first Fall Festival today before the rain came. We had a great turnout of families and everyone spent the afternoon playing games, chalk drawing, dancing, and painting rocks. Thank you to all who came out and thank you to the PTO for a successful event!

Some of our Pre-k students made fast friends with Agawam Senior, Sierra over the last few months. Sierra completed an internship with us here at the ECC. All together we had six interns with us. They were a big help and learned a lot about Pre-k! Congratulations to our senior friends.
Look at this amazing photo of a future educator. He stopped by to visit the ECC today and loved our office chair.
What do ECC students do on a rainy day to get some gross motor time? Scooters! Students in Miss Debbie and Miss Pam's classroom have some fun with highschool students, Morgan and Gabriella. These two senior Agawam students have been completing an internship with us for the last few months. Can you see by the smiles on everyone's faces how fun the scooters are?
