We’re so excited to share that we’re working on strengthening our school-wide behavior supports here at James Clark and we’d love your help with an important part of that!
Our staff has developed three fun and meaningful motto options to guide our school community next year. This motto will become part of our daily language with students, showing up in classrooms, hallways, and newsletters, basically everywhere!
Now we need your input to help us choose the one that best represents what it means to be a Wildcat.
🗳️ Please take a moment to vote by Friday, June 20th!
Thank you for being such an important part of our school family. We can’t wait to see which motto wins!

Here are some of our Kindergarten (Room 17) friends working on retelling the story of The Three Billy Goats Gruff. This lesson focused on students' ability to recall elements of a story: characters, plot, and setting. We focused on the meaning of the word longed, as the three billy goats longed to go up the hillside covered with thick green grass. This activity was a great way for students to work together as they recreated the setting and reenacted key elements from the story.
