AHS students are always making a difference in the community and they were very respectful and positive representatives for Agawam, their schools, and the AVSD recently at the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts.The Agawam Varsity Swim & Dive Team collected monetary donations at our first three home meets this season. On Thursday, team members presented our donation of $185 to the Food Bank of Western Massachusetts at their beautiful facility in Chicopee. Team representatives were given a tour and educated on the services provided by this organization which supplies 200 food pantries right here in Hampden County. They have the ability to turn $1 into 3 nutritious meals. They even grow and source fresh produce at their farm in Hatfield! The Food Bank of Western Massachusetts does amazing things and we are proud to be able to contribute to our community!

AHS students at Senior District Rehearsal last weekend. They will again be rehearsing Saturday all day and then putting on a concert with the best high school singers in western mass at Minnechaug Regional High School at 3:00.
Agawam High's Player of the week is Elijah Maldonado! Elijah hit 1000 career points last Friday against Pittsfield, he has been a key player to the team as long as he's been on the team! Congrats Elijah!
